Our Home Learning

Spellings:

In a few weeks time the children will be given a spelling list to learn each week. More details to follow.

The children have now been given a ‘Spellings to Learn’ book and accompanying letter to bring home. Below is a copy of the parents’ letter and the weekly spelling list.

Reading:

The children will be given 2 reading books to bring home each week. Books will be changed on a Wednesday. Please hear your child read these and record this in your child’s reading diary. Please ensure your child brings them into school each day in their reading folders. Thank you!

Our Work

We created texture with pastels in our art lesson. We learned about ‘how to be healthy’ in Science and created ‘story maps’ for ‘Gracie the Lighthouse Cat’ in English.
