Faith in Action

The Faith in Action Award is a national initiative that aims to celebrate the work that many of our young people do in the name of faith, and also works to forge strong links between Schools and Parishes. All children will work towards the PIN level of the Faith in Action Award this year (and may decide to continue with the Bronze level at Secondary school).

As part of the award, our students will need to engage in 20 hours of voluntary work in school or the parish, as well as taking part in some theological reflections on their actions. The vast majority of the voluntary work will take place at lunch or break time and the students have until next April to complete it.

Students are also asked to complete a Journal during the award which details their own reflections and experiences of putting their faith into action. They will finish the programme with a Final Project piece to summarise their experience.
