Michael from the foodbank came into school to present the children with their certificates today.
Our Mental Health Ambassadors visited our local Tesco store to find out how the company help our local community. We prepared hampers for groups in the local community and packaged and delivered bread to our local foodbank. Well done Sacred Heart!
Members of the well-being club helped to pack shoes boxes, which will be sent to children overseas who are displaced in refugee camps or orphanages. They wrote cards for these children to let them know that others are thinking of them.
Children visited our local Tesco store to help encourage shoppers to donate to the foodbank. All of the food collected was donated to the HOPE foodbank in Carlton, where it will be distributed to those who need it most.
During Advent, the class have helped support Bags of Blessings and the residents of Braywood Gardens by making cards and donating prizes for the Christmas raffle.
Some of the class attended the NottAlone well-being event to find out more about how we can support our own well-being.
During Lent, some of the class went to help out at the local foodbank, strengthening community links and giving their time to others.
